Cheese, glorious cheese!
If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it is this—I love cheese. From the time I was a teeny tot, I’ve always enjoyed formage in all types of ways. Some people say “you had me at hello”. For me, it’s you had me at cheese. I guess you can say that I am kind of obsessed.
Which is why I was all types of excited to learn about National Cheese Curd Day (October 15th). Of course anything with cheese always gets my attention, and I wanted to do my part in getting the word out about this precious foodie holiday.
In order to get into a festive mood, my friend and I went to Culver’s to get into the action and to try their Wisconsin Cheese Curds.
My grandmother used to make Cheese Curds homemade in her kitchen, and I was taken back to that time where I used to pull apart the curds to expose the cheesiness. That was my favorite part, and still is.
These curds are an awesome accompaniment to your meal. Who can say no to this yummy staple? I, for one, can not!
Now that you know the deal, you too can get in on the celebration that is National Cheese Curd Day at Culver’s. Have a batch with a Butter Burger and make sure to share your Cheese Curds on social media using #CheeseCurdDay. You can also participate further by entering Culver’s Life’s Better with Cheddar Sweepstakes. Up for grabs is a year’s worth of Cheese Curds.
This cheesy treat is perfect for kids of all ages and adults can also partake in the gooey goodness.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Culver’s. The opinions and text are all mine.

I absolutely love (good) cheese curds, but unfortunately I can’t seem to find them anywhere near us. The only times I’ve had them has been on road trips when we were in the Wisconsin area.

My grandmother used to make them. I should so ask her for her recipe so I could share it online 🙂

I have to side-eye people who don’t like cheese? Like HOW can you not like cheese? 🙂

You know I have never even heard of cheese curds until I moved to Iowa a few years ago. Everyone here loves these things, I bet the line at Culvers i all the way out to the highway. It may be worth checking out to see what all the fuss is about!
The Cubicle Chick says
The line was rather long when we went. It was worth the wait.

Yum! We don’t have Culver’s here in our area, but I would have celebrated if I had known it was National Cheese Curd Day. 🙂 Next time!
