    I've never had sunburn but I also get my summer tan. I worked outside for 7 years and never used sunscreen. I don't know…not saying it's not possible but until I see it… lol

    Glad your face is getting better though. Sounds really painful

      It's painful, horrible, etc. etc. And I am living proof that it can happen. The melanin in our skin doesn't stop sun damage or sunburn. I am not the only person of color who has suffered from it.

  2. I spent a lot of time in the sun last summer, and my skin peeled for awhile. My kickboxing instructor noticed and told me she didn't know Black people could get sunburn.

    Good reminder on getting makeup, etc. with SPF in it. It takes me so long to use makeup, I don't think about it.

      Yes, make-up w/ SPF is indeed a must. The sun’s UV rays can do such damage to one’s skin, which I am proof of.
