Tina Knowles’ ‘Miss Tina’ Line Misses the Mark for Cubicle Chicks

As a Cubicle Chick, I am always on the look out for inexpensive clothing that is both fashion forward and comfortable to wear. I may have abandoned the cubicle to work at home but I have still like to dress savvy when I am on the move blogging in my personal workspace or hitting up cafes for wifi. House of Dereon designer (and Beyonce’s mama) Tina Knowles recently announced a new clothing line for the “everyday woman” who wants to look sharp as a tack, but if the line looks like the photos I have seen, I am not impressed.

Tina Knowles’ ‘Miss Tina’ line is now in Wal-mart locations across the country and are supposedly for the ‘Cubicle Chick’ in all of us. But there isn’t much about this line that I like. Somewhat Peg Bundy-esque, the fabric print choices and looks left much to the imagination. While trying too hard, I think Tina has missed the mark. (For the record, Tina made me smile with the black crop jacket pictured below. I have to give her props for that haute-ness!)

Below are some pictures of a few pictures of the ‘Miss Tina’ line from her visit to a Wal-mart store in Los Angeles. Take a look for yourself and let me know what you think!
