All eyes were on the 2010 American Music Awards that took place in the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles last night. The American Music Awards are a sought after event in music because it is us, the listeners, who vote for the winners for the awards. The AMAs cover all genres of music including hip-hop/rap, pop, country, rock. and R&B soul.
The red carpet was graced by some of the most beautiful and talented individuals that music has to offer. Below are my top 5 picks for the night’s best dressed celebrities:
5. Katy Perry
Singer Katy Perry gives us her glamourous side in a pale pink strapless number with jeweled accents. Love the way the dress fits her curves!
4. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is giving us a more "adult" look with her straight hair and bangs. I, for one, am enjoying her without the curls. The dress is funky and sexy without showing too much and is a fabulous way for Taylor to debut her new look.
3. Pink
Expectant mother & rocker Pink looks lovely in an understand spaghetti strap black gown. This chic style looks good on Pink!
2. Jada Pinkett-Smith
Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith glows in this "Gladiator" ensemble that shines on her skin tone. Understated but also a showstopper, I love how this dress reflects Jada's personality.
1. Rihanna
Rihanna's burgundy red lace dress wasn't my favorite at first but it grew on me. Her whole look came together for the evening and, while I am not a fan of her red hair, she is still a stunner.

Thanks for sharing these since I didn’t watch the show myself. I hate Pink’s gray hair and so wish she would get rid of it. I agree that Katie Perry looks beautiful and I think Rihanna looks amazing in that dress!
