‘The Game’ Returns to Television on BET on 1/11/11

It took me a long time to get into the sitcom The Game when it was on the CW Network. When I did finally begin watching it during the winter of 2008, it was taken off the air in the spring of 2009—just as I was getting into it.

There was buzz for months that the show would return to television on another network, and a large social networking campaign on Twitter and Facebook was born. Due to an overwhelming response by Gamers, BET decided to inherit the series and run it during its network’s line of original programming.

The original cast of The Game (including Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Wendy Racquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, Brittany Daniel, and Coby Bell), which centers around the fictions football team the San Diego Sabres and the goings on of their players and significant others, have all returned to the series which is taped in Atlanta. BET has been putting their money where their mouth is where the show is concerned and unleashed a large advertising campaign in order to capitalize on the popularity of the show.

I am not sure if The Game will continue it’s clever but kinda corny script line or go another direction. Whatever the case, I will be tuning in to see it’s series premiere and debut on BET tonight, 1/11/11 at 10pm, 9pm CST.

Are ya’ll ready for The Game?
