Reb’l Fleur by Rihanna Hits the Right Notes

When I was in Chicago last weekend, my friend Curvatude and I hit up Macy’s and we were confronted by a woman at the perfume counter who wanted us to try Rihanna’s new scent, Reb’l Fleur. I was skeptical—I usually am not a fan of fragrances that are “created” by celebrities, but when I smelled the scent card that was handed to me, I fell in love.

Upon first sniff, it’s sweet, vibrant, and ultra feminine. But when you let the scent dance off your nose, you are invigorated with a hint of fruit and a dash of musk—we were given actual samples to take with us, and I wore it the next day and loved the way it mingled with my body chemistry.

I freaking love this scent.

According to People magazine, Reb’l Fleur has notes of of ripe fruits and florals as well as vanilla, patchouli and amber. It is indeed a headturner and bold, yet soft at the same time, and I have already placed my order online for the 1.7 ounce bottle that retails for $49.00.

The layers of the scent and the way they play off of one another set it apart from the other celebrity fragrances that are out there. I think this is going to be a fragrance that I will be wearing a lot this spring.

If you are into scents that are girly, light, and fresh, you will love Reb’l Fleur. It’s very fab, feminine, and romantic.

What do you think of Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur?
