Last week, I blogged about me and my family’s desperate need to find a new home, since we are bursting at the seams in the one we have now. We found a fabulous three level townhome five minutes away from where we live now which was perfect—finished basement, two and a half bathrooms, a family room area, and two decks for my 7 year old to play. I asked that you, my readers, pray for my family and that we get the home since my credit had taken a few dings due to a few late payments last year.
Word came back to us on Thursday that the townhome is indeed ours! On Saturday, we went in and signed the paperwork and are due to move out of our condo at the beginning of November!
We couldn’t have done this without you (or without the Man above). Your prayers and well wishes came right on time. And I am sincerely thankful.
The subdivision we are moving to is just a stone’s throw away and is comprised mostly of families. Where we live now is a singles zone (or an old folk’s palace). Whatever the case, we are all elated to be moving to bigger digs that have other families and kids for my little one to play with.
I am not looking forward to packing, though, but these boxes won’t get packed on their own, so in between blogging, taking care of my clients, and working on Show Me the Blog (are you coming?!), I will be sorting, packing, and stocking things to give away to the Goodwill.
We are so happy. And incredibly blessed. Life is GOOD!

That’s awesome news! And it’s good to get moved before the holidays roll around too. We’ll keep praying for a good move and smooth transitions for you all!
Thanks so much Kelly! We will need it since we have so much to move, which is always a stressful experience in itself. We are very happy though. Thanks for commenting
Congrats, Chica!!!
Thank you, Danielle
That’s awesome!! My mom was a single parent and we used to live in a fairly spacious townhouse. It was narrow, but there were three floors, two BRs, three baths, kitchen, DR/LR, basement/family area and tiny deck/patio.
It’s good to have a little space! Congrats!!
