Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago.

The awards season is now in full swing as the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (or SAGs) were held last night in Los Angeles.

January 2009 was such a momentous time for our country as President Obama was sworn in as our leader and chief. First Lady Michelle turned heads later that evening with her oh so fabulous gown, which was created by a little-known designer by the name of Jason Wu, and a star was born.

Many came and many conquered, but few earned the title of being the best dressed on the red carpet. As I did with each Golden Globe telecast, I narrowed down my top 5 favorite looks---which was no easy feat because I loved 10 looks on the red carpet ALOT!

On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person.

The first time I saw Natalie Wood in a film, I was a junior in high school, and we were forced to watch West Side Story in drama class. She was simply stunning, her beauty almost looked too massive to be seen on the less than stellar school TV on rollers.

Last night during the red carpet coverage on E!, Dior debuted a new 1 minute and 31 second film starring Charlize that reflects on Hollywood debutante Grace Kelly, and even has an appearance by the late Marilyn Monroe.

Tonight, Hollywood is back in action with the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards. The red carpet is always where the magic happens (or NOT happens), so I will have all of the red carpet pictures right here on TCC.

Every once in awhile, someone comes into your life and you have no idea why---you just know that you are thankful for them being there for you no matter what. I feel the need to use this blog post as a way to say thank you to a special person who has made all the difference in my life.

Oprah's Lifeclass is a new series on her network imprint, OWN, in which she will share lessons that she has found valuable throughout her 25 years on television.

Many people have blogged their recaps and giving you the details of what happened during the past few days, so I won't continue to follow the pack. But I will throw up three of the highlights of my weekend in San Diego. Pictorally speaking, they are pretty dope!
