It is the number one killer of women, so we cannot sit idly by without doing something about this serious epidemic. Do right by the cause and show your support by being fabulous in something red. Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago. The event is being hosted by BHP founder Raijean Stroud, who is a fashion blogger. She suffers from congestive heart failure and has had numerous surgeries and procedures since being diagnosed. Raijean wants to educate and empower others to take control of their health and encourages support and outreach through the Bleeding Heart Project. The month of February has also been deemed Heart Awareness Month, and there will be plenty of events, programs, and digital attention on the importance of heart health and heart disease prevention. My father also has congestive heart failure and suffers from heart disease. He has had 2 heart attacks and several stints put into his arteries to open them up. Heart disease runs in my family, so I also have to keep an eye on my heart health. It's not something I take lightly. Please make sure to wear red on Feb. 3rd and show your support. Everyone wanted to know who styled the frock, a one shoulder cream confection complete with tulle and embellishments. She was a stunner, and Jason Wu became a man discussed around fashionable circles. He was now the IT boy. Fast forward three years and Wu is readying his first line, Jason Wu for Target. Target has really been able to grasp the high fashion consumer by offering Missoni by Target, which flew off the shelves and off of their website. Jason Wu is hoping that the trend continues and his line will be a popular staple in the store and online. According to USA Today:
The Target (Jason Wu) collection, which features women's apparel, handbags and scarves, includes A-line dresses, tie-waist shifts and high-waisted skirts. While Wu's runway designs can sell for thousands of dollars, each piece in his Target collection is under .

Many came and many conquered, but few earned the title of being the best dressed on the red carpet. As I did with each Golden Globe telecast, I narrowed down my top 5 favorite looks---which was no easy feat because I loved 10 looks on the red carpet ALOT! While the fashion fabulosity of this year's red carpet left little to be desired, there were a few standouts, who were glam, fab, and breathtaking to view. Here are my 5 Most Fab on the 2012 Golden Globe Red Carpet: 5. Claire Danes-Claire is hit or miss on the red carpet, but last night, she stole the show in a J. Mendel black and white number that was both glam and fab. Red lipstick and an updo completed the look and made for a showstopping appearance. 4. Paula Patton-Dressed in a canary yellow strapless Monique Lhuillier, with a half up, half down hairstyle alongside Jimmy Choo heels. I loved her use of color, and she radiated as she walked on the red carpet. Go, Paula! 3. Kate Winslet- How I love this woman! She is always a stunner on the red carpet, and last night, was no exception. Dressed in a Jenny Packham gown with gold waist embellishment, Kate looked haute with those curves! I love how Kate plays with textures and gown styles that accentuate her figure. 2. Evan Rachel Wood- Dangerously fabulous, Evan Rachel Wood is always THE best dressed girl on the red carpet. Last night draped in an emerald sequin halter, Evan displayed old school Hollywood glamour with a hip new twist. Understated jewelry completed the look. 1. Charlize Theron- Amazing! That was all I could say when I saw Charlize (in Dior Haute Couture) let everyone know she rules the catwalk. Simply gorge in a plunging neckline blush colored gown, she was the most fabulous woman on the red carpet last night, hands down. Perfection! For the last three days, I have been absorbing all that is fab, fly, hip, and tech at the annual Show. But one of the best parts about CES is the opportunity to attend events off-site that give you the chance to mix it up with a crowd you may have a lot in common with. On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person. We noshed on exquisite appetizers and finger foods that were created with my foodie instinct in mind. We also got the pleasure of meeting peeps from Sony Electronics and Kingston, who gave us some glam swag including a new Sony Bloggie Live video camera and a Kingston Wi-Drive. A few lucky chicks won a Wii as well as an Epiphanie Bag, which I have been wanting for like, forever! But, the highlight of the event was meeting Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya Ayoung-Chee, who was in the house on behalf of HP. Anya, who is a Trini and proud to say it, beat out all the competition last season on Project Runway with her fabulous fashion that boasts an aesthetic that is nothing short of amazing. I was able to have a short chat with Anya, and she explained what is next up for her: (excuse the volume, us Ladies Who Tech girls are quite a rowdy bunch. LOL) As you can see, CES isn't just about high tech items and futuristic gadgets. It's also about ladies, who are consumers, who make the decisions about what to buy in the home. And we sorta know a thing or two when it comes to technology and what works well. She was such an amazing woman who was gone too soon, but still manages to live on in film. First Lady Michelle turned heads later that evening with her oh so fabulous gown, which was created by a little-known designer by the name of Jason Wu, and a star was born. Everyone wanted to know who styled the frock, a one shoulder cream confection complete with tulle and embellishments. She was a stunner, and Jason Wu became a man discussed around fashionable circles. He was now the IT boy. Fast forward three years and Wu is readying his first line, Jason Wu for Target. Target has really been able to grasp the high fashion consumer by offering Missoni by Target, which flew off the shelves and off of their website. Jason Wu is hoping that the trend continues and his line will be a popular staple in the store and online. According to USA Today:
The Target (Jason Wu) collection, which features women's apparel, handbags and scarves, includes A-line dresses, tie-waist shifts and high-waisted skirts. While Wu's runway designs can sell for thousands of dollars, each piece in his Target collection is under .

Many came and many conquered, but few earned the title of being the best dressed on the red carpet. As I did with each Golden Globe telecast, I narrowed down my top 5 favorite looks---which was no easy feat because I loved 10 looks on the red carpet ALOT! While the fashion fabulosity of this year's red carpet left little to be desired, there were a few standouts, who were glam, fab, and breathtaking to view. Here are my 5 Most Fab on the 2012 Golden Globe Red Carpet: 5. Claire Danes-Claire is hit or miss on the red carpet, but last night, she stole the show in a J. Mendel black and white number that was both glam and fab. Red lipstick and an updo completed the look and made for a showstopping appearance. 4. Paula Patton-Dressed in a canary yellow strapless Monique Lhuillier, with a half up, half down hairstyle alongside Jimmy Choo heels. I loved her use of color, and she radiated as she walked on the red carpet. Go, Paula! 3. Kate Winslet- How I love this woman! She is always a stunner on the red carpet, and last night, was no exception. Dressed in a Jenny Packham gown with gold waist embellishment, Kate looked haute with those curves! I love how Kate plays with textures and gown styles that accentuate her figure. 2. Evan Rachel Wood- Dangerously fabulous, Evan Rachel Wood is always THE best dressed girl on the red carpet. Last night draped in an emerald sequin halter, Evan displayed old school Hollywood glamour with a hip new twist. Understated jewelry completed the look. 1. Charlize Theron- Amazing! That was all I could say when I saw Charlize (in Dior Haute Couture) let everyone know she rules the catwalk. Simply gorge in a plunging neckline blush colored gown, she was the most fabulous woman on the red carpet last night, hands down. Perfection! For the last three days, I have been absorbing all that is fab, fly, hip, and tech at the annual Show. But one of the best parts about CES is the opportunity to attend events off-site that give you the chance to mix it up with a crowd you may have a lot in common with. On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person. We noshed on exquisite appetizers and finger foods that were created with my foodie instinct in mind. We also got the pleasure of meeting peeps from Sony Electronics and Kingston, who gave us some glam swag including a new Sony Bloggie Live video camera and a Kingston Wi-Drive. A few lucky chicks won a Wii as well as an Epiphanie Bag, which I have been wanting for like, forever! But, the highlight of the event was meeting Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya Ayoung-Chee, who was in the house on behalf of HP. Anya, who is a Trini and proud to say it, beat out all the competition last season on Project Runway with her fabulous fashion that boasts an aesthetic that is nothing short of amazing. I was able to have a short chat with Anya, and she explained what is next up for her: (excuse the volume, us Ladies Who Tech girls are quite a rowdy bunch. LOL) As you can see, CES isn't just about high tech items and futuristic gadgets. It's also about ladies, who are consumers, who make the decisions about what to buy in the home. And we sorta know a thing or two when it comes to technology and what works well. Her eyes danced and swayed and she talked, her skin flawless, and her cheekbones were like a work of art. Later that year, I watched her in another film, Splendor in the Grass, opposite Warren Beatty, and became captivated. Such a fabulous woman, and such a tragic story! Last month, officials in Los Angeles reopened the case surrounding her death, and Natalie has been catapulted back into the mainframe of pop culture. She was such an amazing woman who was gone too soon, but still manages to live on in film. Last night during the red carpet coverage on E!, Dior debuted a new 1 minute and 31 second film starring Charlize that reflects a modern Hollywood debutante Grace Kelly, and even has an appearance by the late Marilyn Monroe. It is such a gorgeous commercial, and I can't stop watching. Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago. The event is being hosted by BHP founder Raijean Stroud, who is a fashion blogger. She suffers from congestive heart failure and has had numerous surgeries and procedures since being diagnosed. Raijean wants to educate and empower others to take control of their health and encourages support and outreach through the Bleeding Heart Project. The month of February has also been deemed Heart Awareness Month, and there will be plenty of events, programs, and digital attention on the importance of heart health and heart disease prevention. My father also has congestive heart failure and suffers from heart disease. He has had 2 heart attacks and several stints put into his arteries to open them up. Heart disease runs in my family, so I also have to keep an eye on my heart health. It's not something I take lightly. Please make sure to wear red on Feb. 3rd and show your support. Also, I would love to feature you on my blog later this month in a post about supported of heart disease prevention. Everyone wanted to know who styled the frock, a one shoulder cream confection complete with tulle and embellishments. She was a stunner, and Jason Wu became a man discussed around fashionable circles. He was now the IT boy. Fast forward three years and Wu is readying his first line, Jason Wu for Target. Target has really been able to grasp the high fashion consumer by offering Missoni by Target, which flew off the shelves and off of their website. Jason Wu is hoping that the trend continues and his line will be a popular staple in the store and online. According to USA Today:

Many came and many conquered, but few earned the title of being the best dressed on the red carpet. As I did with each Golden Globe telecast, I narrowed down my top 5 favorite looks---which was no easy feat because I loved 10 looks on the red carpet ALOT! While the fashion fabulosity of this year's red carpet left little to be desired, there were a few standouts, who were glam, fab, and breathtaking to view. Here are my 5 Most Fab on the 2012 Golden Globe Red Carpet: 5. Claire Danes-Claire is hit or miss on the red carpet, but last night, she stole the show in a J. Mendel black and white number that was both glam and fab. Red lipstick and an updo completed the look and made for a showstopping appearance. 4. Paula Patton-Dressed in a canary yellow strapless Monique Lhuillier, with a half up, half down hairstyle alongside Jimmy Choo heels. I loved her use of color, and she radiated as she walked on the red carpet. Go, Paula! 3. Kate Winslet- How I love this woman! She is always a stunner on the red carpet, and last night, was no exception. Dressed in a Jenny Packham gown with gold waist embellishment, Kate looked haute with those curves! I love how Kate plays with textures and gown styles that accentuate her figure. 2. Evan Rachel Wood- Dangerously fabulous, Evan Rachel Wood is always THE best dressed girl on the red carpet. Last night draped in an emerald sequin halter, Evan displayed old school Hollywood glamour with a hip new twist. Understated jewelry completed the look. 1. Charlize Theron- Amazing! That was all I could say when I saw Charlize (in Dior Haute Couture) let everyone know she rules the catwalk. Simply gorge in a plunging neckline blush colored gown, she was the most fabulous woman on the red carpet last night, hands down. Perfection! For the last three days, I have been absorbing all that is fab, fly, hip, and tech at the annual Show. But one of the best parts about CES is the opportunity to attend events off-site that give you the chance to mix it up with a crowd you may have a lot in common with. On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person. We noshed on exquisite appetizers and finger foods that were created with my foodie instinct in mind. We also got the pleasure of meeting peeps from Sony Electronics and Kingston, who gave us some glam swag including a new Sony Bloggie Live video camera and a Kingston Wi-Drive. A few lucky chicks won a Wii as well as an Epiphanie Bag, which I have been wanting for like, forever! But, the highlight of the event was meeting Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya Ayoung-Chee, who was in the house on behalf of HP. Anya, who is a Trini and proud to say it, beat out all the competition last season on Project Runway with her fabulous fashion that boasts an aesthetic that is nothing short of amazing. I was able to have a short chat with Anya, and she explained what is next up for her: (excuse the volume, us Ladies Who Tech girls are quite a rowdy bunch. LOL) As you can see, CES isn't just about high tech items and futuristic gadgets. It's also about ladies, who are consumers, who make the decisions about what to buy in the home. It is the number one killer of women, so we cannot sit idly by without doing something about this serious epidemic. Do right by the cause and show your support by being fabulous in something red. Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago. The event is being hosted by BHP founder Raijean Stroud, who is a fashion blogger. She suffers from congestive heart failure and has had numerous surgeries and procedures since being diagnosed. Raijean wants to educate and empower others to take control of their health and encourages support and outreach through the Bleeding Heart Project. The month of February has also been deemed Heart Awareness Month, and there will be plenty of events, programs, and digital attention on the importance of heart health and heart disease prevention. My father also has congestive heart failure and suffers from heart disease. He has had 2 heart attacks and several stints put into his arteries to open them up. Heart disease runs in my family, so I also have to keep an eye on my heart health. It's not something I take lightly. Please make sure to wear red on Feb. 3rd and show your support. Everyone wanted to know who styled the frock, a one shoulder cream confection complete with tulle and embellishments. She was a stunner, and Jason Wu became a man discussed around fashionable circles. He was now the IT boy. Fast forward three years and Wu is readying his first line, Jason Wu for Target. Target has really been able to grasp the high fashion consumer by offering Missoni by Target, which flew off the shelves and off of their website. Jason Wu is hoping that the trend continues and his line will be a popular staple in the store and online. According to USA Today:
The Target (Jason Wu) collection, which features women's apparel, handbags and scarves, includes A-line dresses, tie-waist shifts and high-waisted skirts. While Wu's runway designs can sell for thousands of dollars, each piece in his Target collection is under .

Many came and many conquered, but few earned the title of being the best dressed on the red carpet. As I did with each Golden Globe telecast, I narrowed down my top 5 favorite looks---which was no easy feat because I loved 10 looks on the red carpet ALOT! While the fashion fabulosity of this year's red carpet left little to be desired, there were a few standouts, who were glam, fab, and breathtaking to view. Here are my 5 Most Fab on the 2012 Golden Globe Red Carpet: 5. Claire Danes-Claire is hit or miss on the red carpet, but last night, she stole the show in a J. Mendel black and white number that was both glam and fab. Red lipstick and an updo completed the look and made for a showstopping appearance. 4. Paula Patton-Dressed in a canary yellow strapless Monique Lhuillier, with a half up, half down hairstyle alongside Jimmy Choo heels. I loved her use of color, and she radiated as she walked on the red carpet. Go, Paula! 3. Kate Winslet- How I love this woman! She is always a stunner on the red carpet, and last night, was no exception. Dressed in a Jenny Packham gown with gold waist embellishment, Kate looked haute with those curves! I love how Kate plays with textures and gown styles that accentuate her figure. 2. Evan Rachel Wood- Dangerously fabulous, Evan Rachel Wood is always THE best dressed girl on the red carpet. Last night draped in an emerald sequin halter, Evan displayed old school Hollywood glamour with a hip new twist. Understated jewelry completed the look. 1. Charlize Theron- Amazing! That was all I could say when I saw Charlize (in Dior Haute Couture) let everyone know she rules the catwalk. Simply gorge in a plunging neckline blush colored gown, she was the most fabulous woman on the red carpet last night, hands down. Perfection! For the last three days, I have been absorbing all that is fab, fly, hip, and tech at the annual Show. But one of the best parts about CES is the opportunity to attend events off-site that give you the chance to mix it up with a crowd you may have a lot in common with. On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person. We noshed on exquisite appetizers and finger foods that were created with my foodie instinct in mind. We also got the pleasure of meeting peeps from Sony Electronics and Kingston, who gave us some glam swag including a new Sony Bloggie Live video camera and a Kingston Wi-Drive. A few lucky chicks won a Wii as well as an Epiphanie Bag, which I have been wanting for like, forever! But, the highlight of the event was meeting Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya Ayoung-Chee, who was in the house on behalf of HP. Anya, who is a Trini and proud to say it, beat out all the competition last season on Project Runway with her fabulous fashion that boasts an aesthetic that is nothing short of amazing. I was able to have a short chat with Anya, and she explained what is next up for her: (excuse the volume, us Ladies Who Tech girls are quite a rowdy bunch. LOL) As you can see, CES isn't just about high tech items and futuristic gadgets. It's also about ladies, who are consumers, who make the decisions about what to buy in the home. And we sorta know a thing or two when it comes to technology and what works well. Later that year, I watched her in another film, Splendor in the Grass, opposite Warren Beatty, and became captivated. Such a fabulous woman, and such a tragic story! Last month, officials in Los Angeles reopened the case surrounding her death, and Natalie has been catapulted back into the mainframe of pop culture. She was such an amazing woman who was gone too soon, but still manages to live on in film. Last night during the red carpet coverage on E!, Dior debuted a new 1 minute and 31 second film starring Charlize that reflects a modern Hollywood debutante Grace Kelly, and even has an appearance by the late Marilyn Monroe. It is such a gorgeous commercial, and I can't stop watching. It is the number one killer of women, so we cannot sit idly by without doing something about this serious epidemic. Do right by the cause and show your support by being fabulous in something red. Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago. The event is being hosted by BHP founder Raijean Stroud, who is a fashion blogger. She suffers from congestive heart failure and has had numerous surgeries and procedures since being diagnosed. Raijean wants to educate and empower others to take control of their health and encourages support and outreach through the Bleeding Heart Project. The month of February has also been deemed Heart Awareness Month, and there will be plenty of events, programs, and digital attention on the importance of heart health and heart disease prevention. My father also has congestive heart failure and suffers from heart disease. He has had 2 heart attacks and several stints put into his arteries to open them up. Heart disease runs in my family, so I also have to keep an eye on my heart health. It's not something I take lightly. Please make sure to wear red on Feb. 3rd and show your support. Also, I would love to feature you on my blog later this month in a post about supported of heart disease prevention. Everyone wanted to know who styled the frock, a one shoulder cream confection complete with tulle and embellishments. She was a stunner, and Jason Wu became a man discussed around fashionable circles. He was now the IT boy. Fast forward three years and Wu is readying his first line, Jason Wu for Target. Target has really been able to grasp the high fashion consumer by offering Missoni by Target, which flew off the shelves and off of their website. Jason Wu is hoping that the trend continues and his line will be a popular staple in the store and online. According to USA Today:

For the last three days, I have been absorbing all that is fab, fly, hip, and tech at the annual Show. But one of the best parts about CES is the opportunity to attend events off-site that give you the chance to mix it up with a crowd you may have a lot in common with. On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person. We noshed on exquisite appetizers and finger foods that were created with my foodie instinct in mind. We also got the pleasure of meeting peeps from Sony Electronics and Kingston, who gave us some glam swag including a new Sony Bloggie Live video camera and a Kingston Wi-Drive. A few lucky chicks won a Wii as well as an Epiphanie Bag, which I have been wanting for like, forever! But, the highlight of the event was meeting Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya Ayoung-Chee, who was in the house on behalf of HP. Anya, who is a Trini and proud to say it, beat out all the competition last season on Project Runway with her fabulous fashion that boasts an aesthetic that is nothing short of amazing. I was able to have a short chat with Anya, and she explained what is next up for her: (excuse the volume, us Ladies Who Tech girls are quite a rowdy bunch. LOL) As you can see, CES isn't just about high tech items and futuristic gadgets. It's also about ladies, who are consumers, who make the decisions about what to buy in the home. It is the number one killer of women, so we cannot sit idly by without doing something about this serious epidemic. Do right by the cause and show your support by being fabulous in something red. Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago. The event is being hosted by BHP founder Raijean Stroud, who is a fashion blogger. She suffers from congestive heart failure and has had numerous surgeries and procedures since being diagnosed. Raijean wants to educate and empower others to take control of their health and encourages support and outreach through the Bleeding Heart Project. The month of February has also been deemed Heart Awareness Month, and there will be plenty of events, programs, and digital attention on the importance of heart health and heart disease prevention. My father also has congestive heart failure and suffers from heart disease. He has had 2 heart attacks and several stints put into his arteries to open them up. Heart disease runs in my family, so I also have to keep an eye on my heart health. It's not something I take lightly. Please make sure to wear red on Feb. 3rd and show your support. While the SAG Awards are not the most prominent awards of the season, it is definitely an opportunity for the stars to bring out their most fabulous looks for the red carpet. First Lady Michelle turned heads later that evening with her oh so fabulous gown, which was created by a little-known designer by the name of Jason Wu, and a star was born. Everyone wanted to know who styled the frock, a one shoulder cream confection complete with tulle and embellishments. She was a stunner, and Jason Wu became a man discussed around fashionable circles. He was now the IT boy. Fast forward three years and Wu is readying his first line, Jason Wu for Target. Target has really been able to grasp the high fashion consumer by offering Missoni by Target, which flew off the shelves and off of their website. Jason Wu is hoping that the trend continues and his line will be a popular staple in the store and online. According to USA Today:
The Target (Jason Wu) collection, which features women's apparel, handbags and scarves, includes A-line dresses, tie-waist shifts and high-waisted skirts. While Wu's runway designs can sell for thousands of dollars, each piece in his Target collection is under .

Many came and many conquered, but few earned the title of being the best dressed on the red carpet. As I did with each Golden Globe telecast, I narrowed down my top 5 favorite looks---which was no easy feat because I loved 10 looks on the red carpet ALOT! While the fashion fabulosity of this year's red carpet left little to be desired, there were a few standouts, who were glam, fab, and breathtaking to view. Here are my 5 Most Fab on the 2012 Golden Globe Red Carpet: 5. Claire Danes-Claire is hit or miss on the red carpet, but last night, she stole the show in a J. Mendel black and white number that was both glam and fab. Red lipstick and an updo completed the look and made for a showstopping appearance. 4. Paula Patton-Dressed in a canary yellow strapless Monique Lhuillier, with a half up, half down hairstyle alongside Jimmy Choo heels. I loved her use of color, and she radiated as she walked on the red carpet. Go, Paula! 3. Kate Winslet- How I love this woman! She is always a stunner on the red carpet, and last night, was no exception. Dressed in a Jenny Packham gown with gold waist embellishment, Kate looked haute with those curves! I love how Kate plays with textures and gown styles that accentuate her figure. 2. Evan Rachel Wood- Dangerously fabulous, Evan Rachel Wood is always THE best dressed girl on the red carpet. Last night draped in an emerald sequin halter, Evan displayed old school Hollywood glamour with a hip new twist. Understated jewelry completed the look. 1. Charlize Theron- Amazing! That was all I could say when I saw Charlize (in Dior Haute Couture) let everyone know she rules the catwalk. Simply gorge in a plunging neckline blush colored gown, she was the most fabulous woman on the red carpet last night, hands down. Perfection! For the last three days, I have been absorbing all that is fab, fly, hip, and tech at the annual Show. But one of the best parts about CES is the opportunity to attend events off-site that give you the chance to mix it up with a crowd you may have a lot in common with. On Tuesday night, I attended the Clever Girls Collective Ladies Who Tech Happy Hour, which took place at the fabulous Wynn/Encore at BARTOLOTTA. It was hosted by Beth Blecherman (@TechMama), who I finally got to meet in person. We noshed on exquisite appetizers and finger foods that were created with my foodie instinct in mind. We also got the pleasure of meeting peeps from Sony Electronics and Kingston, who gave us some glam swag including a new Sony Bloggie Live video camera and a Kingston Wi-Drive. A few lucky chicks won a Wii as well as an Epiphanie Bag, which I have been wanting for like, forever! But, the highlight of the event was meeting Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya Ayoung-Chee, who was in the house on behalf of HP. Anya, who is a Trini and proud to say it, beat out all the competition last season on Project Runway with her fabulous fashion that boasts an aesthetic that is nothing short of amazing. I was able to have a short chat with Anya, and she explained what is next up for her: (excuse the volume, us Ladies Who Tech girls are quite a rowdy bunch. LOL) As you can see, CES isn't just about high tech items and futuristic gadgets. It's also about ladies, who are consumers, who make the decisions about what to buy in the home. And we sorta know a thing or two when it comes to technology and what works well. She was simply stunning, her beauty almost looked too massive to be seen on the less than stellar school TV on rollers. Her eyes danced and swayed and she talked, her skin flawless, and her cheekbones were like a work of art. Later that year, I watched her in another film, Splendor in the Grass, opposite Warren Beatty, and became captivated. Such a fabulous woman, and such a tragic story! Last month, officials in Los Angeles reopened the case surrounding her death, and Natalie has been catapulted back into the mainframe of pop culture. She was such an amazing woman who was gone too soon, but still manages to live on in film. Here is my photo homage to Natalie Wood, my Hollywood heroine and a glamorous chanteuse.
