I kept a bottle for myself, but this is the first time I have been able to try it out. The color is a soft pink shimmery hue and was made in recognition of breast cancer (the ribbon on the bottle is representative of that fact). And since today was the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure here in St. Louis, I thought it was fitting to try the color out today. For those of you who do not know, Susan G, Komen Foundation was created to bring awareness to and help raise funds for a cure for breast cancer. To learn more about this foundation, click HERE. Below are a few photos of my latest nail look with the color ...

It is not a part of China Glaze’s new collections, but I love color period. I like to review different colors with personality style, and flair. Old or new, if it’s got texture and color, I like! I was impressed with Orange Knockout. I purchased it along with three other colors from Sally Beauty Supply last month. And while the other colors were matte and dull, Orange Knockout came to life with each coat. I did use three coats in order to get the maximum amount of color; What do you think? The product(s) shown in these photos were purchased by me. This is not a paid endorsement or review. ...

But last night, I felt like switching up the color with one of the fabulous new China Glaze lacquers that I purchased at Sally Beauty last weekend. In the Limelight by China Glaze popped out to me instantly when I saw it. Bright, bold, and endearing, I had to have it. I love colors that “make a statement”. The only thing I have negative to say about this color is that is is matte, and by the looks of the bottle or the description, you wouldn’t know that. You also have to apply at least three coats to get the bottle color. The color goes on streaky, so use long, thin strokes. After applying two coats of Sally Hansen Super Shine after my nails fully dried, they were ...

I fell in love with China Glaze’s neon lacquers, and the one I liked the most was Flying Dragon, which I used today for my pedicure and fill. I went to a new nail salon because my previous nail salon closed. Vic’s Nail Salon located in Creve Coeur off of Olive is a unique nail spa with innovative nail services. I partook in a Design Signature Pedicure which was to die for! I will be making this spot my go-to nail salon for now on. Check out the color and the nail design my nail technician, Chow, blessed me with. I am really pleased with the results. Please keep in mind that Flying Dragon by China Glaze has a matte finish. I did not know this when I purchased it, but of course the top coat can alleviate ...

When I received wonderful swag from the folks over at China Glaze, I couldn’t wait to see how they would look on me. I decided to up the ante and use two colors: High Hopes & Grape Pop from the ‘Up & Away’ collection. Here are the results! Love, love, love the colors! Very bright, flashy, easy to use (according to my manicurist) and looks just like in the bottle. I suggest you go out and purchase these colors right away! Stay fab! Overall Score: 5 out of 5 stars User Friendly: 5 out of 5 stars Hue vibrancy: 5 out of 5 stars Product packaging: 5 out of 5 stars ...

I was in the early morning throes of PMS and cramping like crazy and had to pick myself out of the bed and head to an early morning breakfast meeting at my corporate office. The day got better though, when after the meeting, we were told that we could go home early for the day. Since I was down the street from the new ULTA store in Chesterfield, I thought I would take a look-see and I ended up purchasing some more Urban Decay eye pigments and some Iman lipsticks that I desperately needed. After picking up my father so he could spend the holiday with us, I treated him as well as myself to spa pedicures. My father has diabetes as I have blogged before and pedicures increase the circulation in his feet. I also got a manicure and a fill and brought my new ...
