TweetYou all know that “selfish” coworker I am referring to. The one who wants to put in the absolute minimum amount of work he or she can but tries to take all of the credit. The employee who hands you their work always late and full of errors because they fail to check it for accuracy. The coworker who always forgets it was their turn to bring in the card or birthday cake for your colleague and is always MIA when you need them. Yes, THAT selfish coworker. What’s The Most Embarrassing Thing That Has Happened To You At Work?

Is There Such A Thing As Privacy At Work?

TweetI received an email from a reader who did not want me to publish the contents of her letter, but wanted to me answer this question: Is there such a thing as privacy at work”. She was asking because she felt her privacy had been violated due to the fact that her boss read all of her “personal” emails on the laptop she used for company business. Apparently she had synched her private mail account into her Outlook, which also served as the host of her business mail account. When she went on vacation and left the laptop with her boss, her boss went through the contents and read several emails which we explicit in nature and time stamped during company time. The one who will purposely not give you your messages so that you look bad. Chances are, you have a hater in your office. Having a hater in your office is a rite of passage.
