Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red for Heart Disease, a day in which we all show our support for those dealing with heart disease. Since the inception of my blog, I have participated in National Wear Red Day and have urged my readers to do so. This year, I will not only be wearing red but attending the Bleeding Heart Project Launch Event in Chicago.

I am a glorified conference junkie and I am proud to say it. But don't let this post fool you---I cannot in any way attend all the conferences that I want to go to.

During CES, T-Mobile invited me to a special event at The Venetian, that was hosted by T-Mobile Girl Carly, and featured singer Colbie Caillat. There was food, swag, and a presentation from T-Mobile higher ups including Philipp Humm, CEO of T-Mobile.

I am currently en route to the International Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas, better known as CES. It is the definitive trade show event of the year and boasts record number attendance.

I am so excited to attend this conference as well as getting the opportunity to meet other bloggers and social media folk that I have been corresponding with online for some time now. And the schedule of presentations and speakers is outstanding! This is a must attend event for sure.

I am very impressed that my daughter, already at a young age, is concerned about the earth and our effects on it. She has been busy going around our home and adding items to our recycle bin, turning off the lights when she leaves the room, and we even checked out a book at the library about how to make a compost.
