Dancing With the Stars has always been must see TV for me. But the new season and cast is making me all warm and fuzzy. It's chock full of some of my favorite entertainers and boasts and impressive line-up, moreso than other seasons. The mamba and the cha-cha is never going to be the same again. ...

When I saw these pictures last night of a svelte and rather glamourous Kirstie Alley arriving at the Late Night with David Letterman soundstage, I did a double take. After losing tons of weight during last season's Dancing with the Stars, Kirstie looks nothing short than amazing. ...

TweetIt was always one of my dreams to be a Victoria’s Secret model. One can have lofty goals, right? Each year for as long as I can remember, I have watched the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which is broadcast on television during the holiday season. Always pink, haute, and luxurious with bodies to die for, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show never disappoints. The show featured VS models Chanel Iman, Selita Eubanks, Lais Robeiro, Erin Heatherton, and more. Here are a few pictures from last night’s show which took place at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City. This year, Victoria’s Secret sports feathers along with its staple of angel wings, ruffles, massive color, and a dash of sports motif. What do you think of the designs in this year’s show? BTW, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be broadcast on CBS on Tuesday, November 30th at 10/9 CST. Photo Credit: ...

Tweet Rape. This weekend, I was confronted with two visual images of rape and the after effects. These images challenged my pre-conceived notions of this brutal act and stirred up so many things in me that I cried tears of pain for the victims who have suffered this traumatic and scarring act. No one ever wants to talk about rape or what it does to the women who are left to pick up the pieces, but each night, I have had problems sleeping because I could only think of those horrific images which played in my mind as I tried to sit still. Why on earth do we even have to deal with something as horrible as having yourself being TAKEN from you? Thursday, I visited my cousin and her baby, and she was watching the primetime drama, Private Practice, in which a doctor was raped by a would-be patient ...

Tweet“…and we’re walking…” Yes, you know her. She is Flo, the animated and heavily made up cashier at the fictitious Progressive store, who gives tours, tells jokes, and is overall, a cool chick. After seeing her commercials repeated daily, I changed from Geico to Progressive off the strength that Flo was more entertaining than the Caveman. Since about 2008, Flo has been a staple in our pop culture. Seen on billboards and even coffee mugs, Flo has become famous in her own right. She is a cubicle chick because while working, she is able to maintain her quirky personality (plus her top lid liquid eyeliner eases my soul)! As a matter of fact, I wanted to be Flo for Halloween this year but nixed the idea since I’ve decided to dress up as Ne Ne from RHOA. Flo is a little Amy Winehouse mixed with a little Peg Bundy– a ...

TweetI have been blessed to have met some wonderful and interesting people via Twitter. One of those such people is Demetrius, aka @afreshmusic, a blogger and music lover who shares his opinions and critiques on http://www.thefreshmusicpage.com. Demetrius and I have been friends on Twitter for almost two years, as he was one of the first people to follow me on the social network. Now he is joining me as the official Pop Culture Contributor here on The Cubicle Chick. I am an avid lover of pop culture myself including reality television, gossip, and trends. But when it comes to that genre, Demetrius trumps me. And me wanting to bring my readers the best information that I can, I have relied on D to bring the heat when it comes to everything that is IN. Earlier this week, D took some time out of his schedule to answer a few questions ...
