While cooking a fabulous meal at home is what most of us prefer for the family, eating out and allowing someone else to do the work is something I think we all can appreciate. LongHorn Steakhouse has been one of my favorite places to visit for lunch and dinner because I really enjoy their food. Their steaks are always cooked well and they have fabulous side dishes and desserts that both of my kids enjoy. Recently, LongHorn introduced their new Flavorful Under 500 menu of items that will allow you to eat without feeling guilty about consuming too many calories. Everything on the Flavorful Under 500 menu is under 500 calories. How sweet is that?

At LongHorn, we believe that even during the season of calorie-cutting resolutions, people should be able to “have their steak and eat it too.” With LongHorn Steakhouse’s new “Flavorful under 500” menu, we’re making it easy to enjoy a variety of expertly grilled steakhouse meals that will have you surprised at how much flavor we can pack into 500 calories.
The new menu – now available in restaurants – features five satisfying steakhouse meals, including fresh steak, chicken or fish entrees, all fewer than 500 calories when paired with steamed vegetables or green beans and a side salad.
LongHorn has taken the worry out of eating out with offering this fabulous menu that helps us control our portions and caloric intake. I am giving away one $15 (1) LongHorn Steakhouse gift card, which will allow you to try a meal on the Flavorful Under 500 menu or any wide variety of items LongHorn has to choose from. $15 goes a long way at LongHorn and can usually pay for one entree and a soft drink during lunch.
