A few weeks ago, I brought you an interview that I conducted with Jason Caston, Digital Platforms and Innovation Specialist at The Potter’s House/T.D. Jakes Ministries, and the creator of the iChurch Method. During the interview, he shared with me his iChurch Method and how it is being used at churches and faith based organizations all over the world. Our digital lifestyle encompasses so much of what we do—and with that, can help us with our spiritual side. Through the use of technology, we can enhance our faith experience. Churches are utilizing technology to reach members inside and outside of the church and parishioners are staying plugged into their church’s message with the help of iPads, social media, podcasts and more.
With technology, there is no longer a limit to our overall faith experience.
AT&T has launched their Inspired Mobility campaign to showcase the many positives of merging faith and technology. With the campaign, they want users to experience technology within their church and share with others. In doing so, AT&T hopes to uplift and inspire others.
AT&T’s Inspired Mobility campaign kicked off during Blogging While Brown last month.
AT&T also conducted a survey about faith and technology and it it, we learned that “more than 90% of participants said that mobile technology has a place in their faith community, and agreed that, when used to enhance or share the worship experience, mobile devices have a positive impact”.
As a kick-off of the AT&T Inspired Mobility campaign, I am giving away a iPad Mini compliments of AT&T. To enter to win, simply leave a comment below of what your Inspired Mobility looks like. Do you use technology at church, or to connect with faith based organizations? Do you follow churches online on social media? These are all prompts that you can answer to enter to win.
One (1) winner will be selected at random, and the winner will be announced on my social feeds. The giveaway ends on Monday, August 11th at 7pm CST. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only, void where prohibited.
