The following is a review of my pedicure experience at Sweet Mia St. Louis. This is not sponsored, and I paid for my service out of my own pocket.
I’ve been on the hunt for a luxe and lavish pedicure experience for months now. I’m not talking about your average pedicure, but a more upscale, up-leveled experience where the environment is less like a nail salon and more like a spa. While on social media, I came across a sponsored ad for Sweet Mia and did some digging, and decided to make an appointment.
Sweet Mia is a natural nail spa, with locations in St. Louis, Tulsa, and Rogers, Arkansas. The Sweet Mia St. Louis spa is located in the Des Peres area in West County. If you aren’t familiar, natural nail spas don’t use drills, and they only apply natural and organic products in their services. No harsh chemicals like many nail salons use, and because of this, it is better for your nails.

You can still get gel polish; however, it is an upcharge and must be added to your service. It does take a little longer to remove than with traditional nail salons, but again, this removal process is better for your real nails.
Now that we’ve covered that, you can get a full rundown on my experience at Sweet Mia.
Special touches
Upon entering Sweet Mia, you are greeted with soft jazz type of music with a neutral aesthetic and color palette. It is clean, warm, and inviting, without the harsh chemical smells that most nail salons have. The minimalistic style gives you a luxe feeling.
I was greeted promptly and shown gel colors that I could choose from. Once I was introduced to my pedicurist, she led me to my chair. I was given a hotel towel to place around my neck, and she shared with me each step of the Sweet Fall Pedicure service that I selected. A hot towel neck wrap, a bamboo bowl with warm water for my feet, and a serene atmosphere are special touches that made my appointment worth every penny.

Relaxing
Once I settled into my chair and my pedicurist began removing the gel polish on my toes, I was in relaxation mode. The chairs at Sweet Mia aren’t like the chairs at most nail salons. These chairs are soft, not bulky, and include a massage mechanism that feels amazing. Think Sharper Image meets the Calm app. The chairs are super flexible and allow you to lean all the way back, like you are sleeping in bed. How can I ever go back to a “regular” nail salon again?

Attention to detail
There’s intention in the attention I received during my appointment. From the music and ambiance to the natural and house-made scrubs and oils used during my pedicure, I felt pampered and well cared for. My pedicurist painstakingly painted my nails and shaped them to perfection. My feet never looked better, or felt better for that matter.
More than a massage
At Sweet Mia, you get more than just a leg and foot massage. You also get a neck, shoulder, scalp, and facial massage. This is good to know, because I came in with a full face of makeup, and had I known my face was also going to be massaged, I would’ve come barefaced.

It’s not just a pedicure, but a full-bodied experience.
Worth every penny
My service at Sweet Mia St. Louis was $84 and included essential toenail care, warm milk soak, homemade olive oil scrub, clay mask, hot stone massage, and more. With the tip, the total was $104.00, and it was worth it. I’ve paid for upgraded pedicures at mediocre nail salons previously and didn’t receive nearly as much pampering as I did at Sweet Mia. This pedicure will last me about a month.

There are less expensive pedicures on the menu, including a Classic Pedicure for $49.00. Gel removal and polish is extra.
Sweet Mia is a gem, and I am thoroughly impressed with the treatment and care I received during my visit. They’ve gained a consistent customer, and I can’t wait for my next pedicure.
