The Cubicle Chick ‘A Sweet Affair’ Was Indeed Sweet!

I love it when a good plan comes together! Yesterday, I hosted my second event here in St. Louis at Jilly’s Cupcake Bar and Cafe off of Delmar near the Loop. Again, I was both amazed and humbled that so many wonderful people turned out for the event. There were plenty of cupcakes and goodies to keep us occupied and the company was indeed SWEET!

I am getting more and more comfortable throwing events, and I look forward to doing yet another one in March! Below are some pictures of the fete! Again, thanks to everyone who came out! I truly thank you!

Most of the photos below were taken by @DesigningLady! She did an incredible job capturing the essence of the affair, and I highly recommend her to photograph your event if you are in the St. Louis area. Her website is Diva Graphics N Design Studio. You can also follow her on Twitter!

The other photos showcased were taken by myself as well as others in attendance. Anita Santiago also served as photographer for the event, and a few of her pics can be seen here! You can follow Anita on Twitter!

A fellow STL blogger and event attendee Todd Randall Jordan blogged about his experience at ‘A Sweet Affair’ from a diversity standpoint, which I found very thought provoking. You can read his blog post HERE.

Special thanks to Jilly and her staff for being a great place to host an event!

Had a wonderful time at your event yesterday. This was my first tweetup and I must say it won’t be my last! These events are very fun and you get to meet a lot of very interesting people from different backgrounds with a lot of different interest. It’s a great learning experience and a great way to expand your social networking circle.

And thanks for the kudos once again. I enjoyed taking the pictures of your event, and look foward to doing it again for you, if the need arises, and anyone else who needs the service.

So glad Sharon and I made it out. Had a wonderful time. Made some new friends, cemented some relationships, and dang if we didn't pick up some tasty cupcakes along the way.
Thanks for hosting, handing out swag, and generally making it fun.
You and I need to make sure to talk about summer get togethers.
    Cheers,
    Todd @tojosan
