So this is the time of the month where I blog about the monthly St. Louis Yelp event. Don’t all click at once! I love the Yelp events, they are usually so creative, not your run of the mill type fare that everyone seems to duplicate. I appreciate a good party and food with some uniqueness thrown in and the Yelp events are certainly just that.
This month, the event was held at the Regional Arts Commission in the Loop in St. Louis. If you aren’t familiar with the area, the Loop is an artsy section of town with urban scapes and great eateries and there is also a bunch of people just doing their own thing.
The party was a “P” Party—Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, character portraits for the guests, Pimp cups for us to design, and pizza by Pi Pizzeria, a St. Louis pizza fave.
I told you this was a party!
I was able to see my girls, @MilliGFunk and @STLWineGirl who both were at the Trout Lodge Ladies Tweet-up a few weeks ago. I noshed on butter pecan ice cream from Serendipity and even though I wanted seconds, I was a good girl! You would be proud.
And I volunteered to help the Regional Arts Commission to help them continue their tradition of championing the arts in St. Louis!
Oh, and go ahead and create a Yelp account if you do not already have one. It’s my go to place for reviews on everything—restaurants, retail stores, spas, you name it! I even use it when I am traveling and I want to know where the happening places are.
Here are a few photos I took of the event, and I even threw some Loop pictures in the mix so for those of you who aren’t from the area, you can see this wonderful area of the city.
Thanks to Abby for the invite and the goodies she donated to our tweet-up event that is coming soon!
