Lysol’s Mission for Health Campaign

With back to school officially underway all of the U.S. and with the cold and flu season fast approaching, the people over at Lysol thought of the ingenious idea to start a campaign focused on the prevention of germs and spreading illness and diseases through its Mission for Health campaign.

In the campaign, Lysol is focused on giving information to parents, children, and educators about protecting oneself against germs. The campaign centers around its website, which serves as an interactive portal for its users. On the site, you can learn about Lysol’s products and read about Healthy Homes,  Healthy Families, and join the Lysol Community. You can also receive special offers for many Lysol branded products.

Lysol has also reached out to schools and is holding a Lysol Blue Ribbon Attendance Challenge, a Healthy Hero Contest, and Hand Washing Song Contest. $75,000 worth of gifts and prizes will be given to winners.

In addition, on the Mission for Health site, there are tips for new moms on keeping themselves germ free for their babies. There’s even a section in which you can submit tips on how you keep you and your family safe from germs.

Making the environment safe for you and your family as well as preventing illnesses such as the cold and flu are most important. I applaud Lysol for creating a unique and user friendly website that educates people on the things they can do to stay germ-free.
