Fooz Kids: A Safe & Fun Online Portal for the Family

Fooz Kids Happy Kids are Fooz Kids

Thank you to Fooz Kids for providing me with an All-In-One pack to review. The opinions I’ve expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest viewpoint.

My seven year old loves to get online to play and to learn, but it’s been hard for me to find sites that are truly safe and kid friendly in her age group. When I got the opportunity to review Fooz Kids, I jumped at the chance because I had been hearing a lot of positives about the website. Last week, I acquired my credentials and logged in with my daughter in tow so we could search around the site and find specific areas of interest to her. It was the beginning of a brand new friendship with Fooz Kids.

Fooz Kids is an interactive portal online just for kids. Within the application, you and your child have tons of options to both play and learn. Kids can create their own avatar or look alike and make friends with other Fooz Kids friends online. They can play games, create crafts, and watch videos of their favorite shows like Arthur and Spongebob Square Pants. Kids can also create their own virtual room, and create Fooz Kids Mail, which is an introduction to email and video mail.

There are also options for kids to learn with Fooz Kids University which creates an online curriculum based on your child’s age and grade, read books online with Fooz Kids Books, and buy virtual items in the Fooz Kids Mall.

I like this application for my daughter because everything is done within one application, without her leaving the site or page. The menu is colorful and also has pictures so if she cannot read what to do, the pictures show her what the item is in the menu. No need to worry about her opening up another window in the browser and possibly going to another site that isn’t safe—everything is available to her on Fooz Kids.

Fooz Kids also uses some of the brands and characters she has come to love including Strawberry Shortcake, Max and Ruby, American Girl, and Dora the Explorer. And there’s a Parental Control Board within the application that I can customize and control based on my daughter’s needs.

I feel good recommending Fooz Kids to you because it’s safe, fun, and allows your child to use the computer without worry. I do recommend that while your child is using Fooz Kids that you are close by and that you monitor their usage. Not only for their protection, but to see what they like to do best and what they enjoy most online.

There are several subscriptions and plans for Fooz Kids, starting at just $1.99 a month. You can also pay by year which may make it easier, since you don’t have to remember about charges each month.

Since we were introduced to Fooz Kids a week or so ago, my daughter has been having non-stop fun. I now allow her to get on Fooz Kids as a reward for finishing her homework or doing a good deed around the house. She loves it, and I do too!
