I’ve been working on my physical fitness for the past six months, so I’ve been on a strict food and exercise regimen. However, when I got the opportunity to try out McDonalds’ new Fresh Beef Quarter Pounder during an event locally, I had to take them up on their offer. I hardly ever eat burgers anymore, but this was a much needed treat.
McDonald’s is playing no games. They have been listening to its customers and critics, and are working to create even more tastier and healthier menu items that the whole family can enjoy. One way they are doing this is with their new Fresh Beef initiative. They have rolled out a 100% fresh beef quarter-pound burgers which is the latest step in their commitment to build a better McDonald’s.
Now when ordering a Quarter Pounder, the beef is not frozen and prepared fresh and made-to-order. They’ve rolled this out in St. Louis and many other cities across the U.S. In the future, more menu items will be prepared this way as well.
We took a tour of the kitchen and saw the process of how they make the Fresh Beef Quarter Pounder burgers, then were able to taste them for ourselves after using the kiosks to place our order.
The result is a fresher, juicier, and dare I say tastier burger experience that rivals a high-end gourmet burger you may find in a hoity-toity eatery. You can taste the difference right away—as a former consumer of the Quarter Pounder on a regular basis, this fresh beef incarnate is a huge step up.
I won’t be able to eat these often, but on my cheat day, I will be indulging.

McDonald’s offers health care and paid time off for employees and offers $2,500 for crew members and $3,000 for managers in tuition assistances for employees after 90 days and only have to work 15 hours a week over the summer to qualify.

Have always loved McDonald’s and especially Quarter Pounders but stopped eating them for awhile because of the meat so it is time to indulge from time to time. And nothing beats hot McD’s fries too!! Love them!!

I’ve actually never had a Quarter Pounder before but I think it’s great that McDonalds is using fresh beef now. They’re definitely going to give these other restaurants a run for their money. I’d love to check the sandwich out along with the other new menu options they’ve been adding.
