As you may have noticed on my blog recently, I have been all a-glow about the new Nordstrom opening at the St. Louis Galleria next week. The fabulous staff at behind the scenes have been working feverishly to create several grand opening events that St. Louis can really sink their teeth into. I wanted to announce two upcoming events that are being held at Nordstrom’s new St. Louis Galleria location that are must-attend soirees.
The first event is an exclusive Grand Opening Gala on Wednesday, September 21st from 6 to 9pm. The tickets for the event are $75 and include valet parking, fashion modeling, shopping, music, dinner and dessert buffets, cocktails, and other entertainment throughout the store. All proceeds from the event go to support COCA, Contemporary Art Museum, Missouri Botanical Garden, and St. Louis Art Museum. These are non-profit institutions in the St. Louis area that help the community, so attending this event would really help St. Louis citizens.
And feast your eyes on the swank menu for the affair being catered by Butler’s Pantry:
* Petite blackened tilapia soft tacos with avocado & lime cilantro
slaw and individual Patron margaritas served in petite bottle
* Mini Cubana sandwich with rum and Coke in individual bottles
* Petite wild rice waffle with apricot mimosas served in petite
champagne bottles
* Ahi tuna carpaccio on wonton petal with wasabi cream and soy
glaze and petite Lemon Ginger Martinis in Individual Bottles
And yes, I will be there taking it all in and getting my shopping on. It’s going to be a fabulous time!
The second event at Nordstrom is the Pre Opening Beauty Bash that takes place on Friday, September 23, the official opening day of the St. Louis Galleria location at 8am, right before the store opens at 10am. Think tailgate party meets beauty and fabulosity.
Nordstrom’s entire team of Beauty Experts will be on hand to dish about the latest trends in makeup and beauty, and will also be conducting demonstrations and giving out product samples and gifts with purchase. Get in the store and enjoy it before it officially opens to the public. And yes, I will be there for that too. I wouldn’t miss it!
