My novel ‘A Clermont Lane Wedding’ is certainl My novel ‘A Clermont Lane Wedding’ is certainly not biographical, but there are traces of my life all up and down this book (hint hint). It’s a perfect Spring Break read!

It’s got romance, intrigue, a little mystery, and a family legacy on the line. On sale on Amazon, eBooks and paperback, link in bio.

My Dream Home is Located in the Heart of St. Louis City

For most, the American Dream is to own a home and to be able to keep it in the family for generations. I have always wanted to own a home and have it built from the ground up and customized to my liking, but that hasn’t happened yet. I have achieved most of my goals, but that is one I plan on making come true really soon.

I had the pleasure of attending a holiday event a few weeks ago that was nestled in the distinct part of West End St. Louis. The event took place in what I would like to christen as my dream home—a two-story delight built in West End Estates by Vatterott Builders that amazed even me. Who knew there were homes like this being built in the city?

With the popularity of the Loop area, this neighborhood is bustling with new shoppes, retail outlets, restaurants, and homes. Historic homes are being restored and remodeled in the area and alongside shiny and new real estate like the home I visited —with almost every amenity you can imagine! And it’s centrally located and accessible to Highways 40/64, I-70, 170, and 44, so it’s a great place to live for an easy commute.

The event was capped off with wines, cheeses, various appetizers, wonderful music, and featured a tour of the home which serves as a model for just one of the types of homes you can have built in the area.

St. Louis’s West End area has been reborn, and should definitely be an option to build a new home.

Feast your eyes on my dream home!

Special thank you to Sharon, Enright Block Captain for the invite.

I run the social media and blog for a St. Louis custom home builder, and I have to admit, as someone house obsessed, I get a guilty pleasure from going in and snapping pictures of other people’s homes! I think I am going to end up being one of those old ladies that just wanders through open houses when I get older 🙂

Melody, I am with you! I love attending open houses and such. You can tell a lot by looking in people’s homes. We should get together one day and Open House Surf. LOL.
