I wasn’t really feeling it this morning in terms of make-up but I went ahead and sucked it up in order to complete this blog post. A lot of my Cubicle Chicks out there have been giving me wonderful make-up and application advice and I know that my regular readers are getting used to me posting my eye look each Friday so I didn’t want to be a no-show.
As they say in Hollywood, the show must go on!
With that being said though, this week’s challenge was not my favorite. I used Cargo’s Hands of Hope palette exclusively and the color that was on the palette ended up not being the color that was on my eye. What I thought was a dark grey hue ended up looking blue, so I got a little frustrated during the application.
So here it goes….
![cargo1 Unfortunately the Cargo Hands of Hope does not have names for their colors so I cannot list them here. :(](https://www.thecubiclechick.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cargo1.jpg)
![cargo2 The colors are Eastern influenced. Stila 'Onyx' eyeliner was used.](https://www.thecubiclechick.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cargo2.jpg)
![cargo3 The brow bone color ended up being too shimmery which is why I need to test more before I apply.](https://www.thecubiclechick.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cargo3.jpg)

I used three eye colors to achieve this look, and I am sure you can’t really tell. I am in love with the Cargo Hands of Hope, though, so I will chalk this look up to my weak skills at this point. I used this same palette last week as well as in some Twitpic photos, and it always came out vibrant. I will give it another try in 2 weeks when the next Friday Eye Color Pigment Challenge will be completed.
Any comments or suggestions of course would be great. I really want to step up my eye blending game. 🙂
