I always get the African prince trying to transfer money to my bank account & banks that I don’t have accounts with saying there’s a problem that I need to give them my SS# to solve. I’m amazed that people still send these out, because I’ve heard countless reports telling people that these are scams! But if they’re still sending them, someone must still be falling for it.
My boyfriend always responds to those kinds of emails with rude, explicit language. I just delete & go on, but he told me he that they actually open and read messages, thinking they will get money and he really enjoys causing them a moment of hope, followed by disgust. I think it’s too bad the people behind it can’t be tracked down and prosecuted.
