‘Extra-Va-Vaganza!’ from the OPI Burlesque Collection & Mini Lacquers Giveaway

I missed seeing the movie Burlesque, but that didn’t stop me from wanting to purchase a few colors from the movie inspired nail line from OPI. I love glitter polish (see HERE), so it was fitting that I started with a shimmer from the collection called ‘Extra-Va-Vaganza’, a speckled, glittery confection that is prime for the holiday season.

As I previously blogged, I have said goodbye to acrylics and I am now rocking my natural nails. It has been about 2 weeks since my nails have been free of product, so they are still very sensitive. The peeling has subsided but they are still very soft and fragile. I have been using Nail Tek religiously as well to help strengthen my nails. I also purchased a ridge filler base coat from Sally Beauty Supply called ‘Palladio’ to help smooth my nails and give my polish a better finish.

My subpar camera did not capture the shimmery glittery speckles in the polish, but they are very vibrant. It’s a wonderful festive color and I enjoy looking at my nails. What I am not looking forward to is taking the polish off—glittery polish removal is messy but it’s worth it for the effect you get with the color.

So, I am feeling ‘Extra-Va-Vaganza’. I would highly recommend it to you guys!
