I’m Going to Shecon! Are You?

Blogging conferences can be a daunting task to attend. Add the expenses of a ticket to the conference, plane fare or transportation costs, and hotel accommodations and food, and it can be an expensive feat! Having a sponsor helps, but not everyone can get a sponsor, and for some, may not be able to afford the blogging and social media conferences they want to attend.

Which is why I was so excited when I heard about Shecon, a new media expo for female bloggers and social media types. It’s being held in Miami South Beach, and unlike 90% of conferences, it’s FREE to attend. You just had to register in time for the free ticket and VOILA, you are on your way!

Going to a conference is a little easier to bare when you don’t have to worry about a $300 ticket to get entrance. And I was able to get a sponsor (Chicalogic) for my airfare, so it was a no-brainer!

The expo will include speakers like Guy Kawasaki, Aliza Shermann, Pregnant in Heels’ Rosie Pope, and many, many more! I will be learning from the best and networking with hundreds of women who are amazing bloggers. I cannot wait!

Shecon invades Miami’s South Beach on May 20- May 22nd. To learn more about this event, click HERE.

And it will be a family reunion of sorts because my #sistertribe will be there too—Kesha, Andrea, and Lisa will be in the house, so you know when we get together, chaos will ensue. I will be liveblogging and live tweeting the entire time, so make sure to be on the lookout.

I’m going to Shecon, ya’ll! Are you?

See you there! Looking forward to networking. And make sure you stop by the Wine Sisterhood Sassy Suite each evening – wine tastings and other fun (after the official Happy Hour).
