Dear Mama: 20 Affirmations for Moms

Motherhood is full of highs and lows and sometimes, we all need a pick me up. I'm sharing 20 Affirmations for Moms--get inspired.

Being a mother is challenging work. You raise ’em, heal their wounds, nurse them when they are sick, instill your wisdom and knowledge in your kids, and you usually don’t receive a thank you in return. And the thing is, even when they are adults like my kids, your motherhood continues, but this time, they don’t have to do what you say! Motherhood is the most challenging job I’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Still, we have moments when we wonder if we are doing a good job or raising them right. For those moments, we need a dose of positivity to help us overcome the roadblocks. I’ve written 20 Affirmations for Moms that you can read whenever needed. Bookmark them so you’ll have these affirmations handy.

I am a fantastic mom.

Period. End of story.

My kids and family appreciate me.

They do, even if they don’t tell you.

I am doing my best.

And you give your best.

Be easy on myself.

Don’t judge yourself so harshly.

Breathe. I got this.

Woosah!

One moment at a time.

One thing at a time.

I deserve time to myself.

You do. Don’t feel guilty about it.

I am worthy.

YES!

Stop being hard on myself.

Cut it out!

I am important to my family.

Girl, please believe it!

It’s okay to take a day off.

With no regrets.

My family looks up to me.

And what an inspiration you are.

I am enough.

Right. True.

I am a proud example for my family.

And they are so proud of you!

I make self-care a priority, and I deserve it.

So schedule some self-care time–whatever that looks like to you.

I forgive myself for any mistakes I’ve made.

Forgiveness is everything.

I will not compare myself to other moms.

Nope. We aren’t doing that anymore.

I am working to find harmony in my personal and professional life.

Work/Life Harmony is important.

I appreciate my journey.

Your path has certainly been sweet.

I prioritize my well-being.

When you are well, others around you can be well, too.

I hope my 20 Affirmations for Moms help you realize that you are an awesome mom and doing a great job. Motherhood ain’t easy,  but someone has to do it. I am glad that someone is you.
