Microsoft Pop-Up Stores Open for the Holidays in Selected Cities

Despite that fact that I am an Apple user, we also have 3 PC’s in our home. My 8 year old daughter uses a PC to do her homework and play educational games on. She loves her Sony Vaio (which used to be mine), and we also have a smaller notebook PC for travel. Microsoft has a lot to celebrate these days with the unveiling of their new Surface tablet and Windows 8 operating system. And just in time for the holidays, Microsoft is opening pop-up stores across the country, which are perfect for hands-on experiences.

Microsoft will open more than 30 stores here in the United States and in Canada.

According to the Microsoft blog:

The holiday stores will offer customers the opportunity to learn new technology skills, get the most out of their Microsoft-enabled devices and engage with knowledgeable staff to identify the best products for their personal and gift-giving needs.

Here in St. Louis, a Microsoft pop-up store will be opening inside the Saint Louis Galleria on Friday, October 26th. This is a great area for a Microsoft imprint, and will give some competition to the Apple store also located in the mall.

Below are some of the other locations that will be opening across the U.S. and Canada:

  • Aventura Mall – Aventura, FL
  • Beachwood Place – Beachwood, OH
  • Cherry Creek Shopping Center – Denver, CO
  • Dadeland Mall – Miami, FL
  • Eaton Centre – Toronto, Ontario
  • Fashion Mall at Keystone – Indianapolis, IN
  • Fashion Show Mall– Las Vegas, NV
  • Glendale Galleria – Glendale, CA
  • Mall at Green Hills – Nashville, TN
  • Mall in Columbia – Columbia, MD
  • Metropolis at Metrotown – Burnaby, BC
  • Montgomery Mall – Bethesda, MD
  • Natick Mall – Natick, MA
  • North Star Mall – San Antonio, TX
  • Oakridge Centre – Vancouver, BC
  • Penn Square Mall – Oklahoma City, OK
  • Perimeter Mall – Atlanta, GA
  • Roosevelt Field Mall – Garden City, NY
  • Ross Park Mall – Pittsburgh, PA
  • South Shore Plaza – Braintree, MA
  • Southpark Mall – Charlotte, NC
  • Stonebriar Centre Mall – Frisco, TX
  • Streets at Southpoint – Durham, NC
  • Time Warner Center – The Shops at Columbus Circle – New York, NY
  • Washington Square– Portland, OR
  • West Edmonton Mall – Edmonton, Alberta
  • Westfarms Mall – West Hartford, CT
  • Westfield Garden State Plaza – Paramus, NJ
  • Westfield San Francisco Centre – San Francisco, CA
  • Woodland Hills Mall – Tulsa, OK
  • Woodlands Mall  – Woodlands, TX

I’ve received a special invitation to come and check out Microsoft. I plan on checking out the pop-up location here in St. Louis and bringing you the details and photos from the store. I also have a PC that I need to buy that is on a special someone’s Christmas list, so visiting the store and checking out the goods is a must!

Check out my site soon for exclusive coverage and details of Microsoft’s pop-up store!
