Today marks the first anniversary for The Red Pump Project, a collaborative that I am involved in, which promotes education and awareness about HIV/AIDS amongst women and girls. In honor of The Red Pump Project and in support of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Red Pumpers from around the U.S. organized and hosted events in order to spread the word and increase the dialogue.
Tonight, I held a small event entitled ‘Dinner with the Cubicle Chick’ at Cardinals baseball player owned Pujlos 5 Westport Grill. Several of my friends and followers came to the event to show their support and to get to know about the Red Pump Project.
It was a great night of food, knowledge, and fun. But most importantly, we discussed HIV/AIDS amongst women and its effect of the community and the world.

The cases of HIV/AIDS have risen tremendously over the last two years amongst women. Know the facts, know your status, and get tested. This disease is preventable. Be smart and have protected sex.
