Four Ways to Make Mondays Work For You and Not Suck

Most of us loathe Mondays. It could be because it signals that responsibility and adulthood are in play. Or that we no longer can live recklessly, as duty calls. Whatever the case, Mondays get a bad rap for the most part.

Despite the fact that we don’t like Mondays, they are inevitable. So you could go through your Monday salty and in a poor mood, or you can put your big boy or big girl panties on and let it work for you.

When you count Mondays out, you aren’t letting yourself live up to your potential. You could be leaving money on the table because you fail to realize that you have to seize every day. Even Mondays.

It is time for you to pimp your Mondays and let them work for you. Here are four ways that you can make Mondays yours that are simple and easy to put forth.

Success Works Each Day, Even on Mondays

Do you think successful giants like Oprah, Bill Gates, Beyonce, or Warren Buffet sit Mondays out? They don’t. They use each day to their advantage. In order to get in the moguldom mind-frame, you have to think like a mogul. You also have to utilize the power that can be leveraged on a day like Monday.

While others are sulking and brooding (i.e. your competition), you can use this advantage to reach out to clients and customers. It can totally be a win for you.

Power in Profits

Just like at the beginning of the year, Mondays are a day where people start anew. New routines, new diets, new habits, new changes. Seize this opportunity by capitalizing on the first true day of the week with offers and discounts for your customers.

If you are a careerist, use Mondays to get the lead over others in your office who may be slacking.

Preparation

Prepare for a fabulous Monday the night before and let it be the foundation of your week. Write out your goals, send out a newsletter. Test launch a new product or service. Studies show that Mondays are one of the busiest and most populous on social media, so use this to your advantage. Get in front of your potential client or customer base when they are most available.

Monday Mindset

Mondays are what YOU make them. You and you alone have the ability to shift it to what you want it to be. As the foundation of your whole week, it can help shape the way the next four days will go. Start off strong and you are certain to have more to celebrate when the week ends.

The Bangles might’ve coined Manic Mondays, but that was so 30 years ago. It is now time to take back our Mondays and allow it to manifest our greatness and potential. Are you ready?

Start your Mondays off right with the help of my book, Personal, Professional, and Positive: The 30-Day Challenge. It can help you prioritize, set goals, and create positive habits that can last a lifetime. Purchase it on Amazon HERE.
