2009-‘Twas A Good Year

The wonderful year that is 2009 is almost over and I can’t help but use these last days of the year as a reflection period. Personally, 2009 has held mixed blessings for me. So many wonderful things happened to me, things that were epic in proportions. I started this blog, which has become not only a creative outlet for me, but is growing in readership and sponsorship everyday. I also learned more about myself this year. With self reflection and evaluation, and several mistakes, I have become comfortable in my skin. Finally.

I lost something good. But I also learned from the experience. I struggled a little, but with that struggle, I developed stregnth and endurance and I realized how strong I really was. I experienced a rebirth of sorts.

My daughter started Kindergarten. My son became a Sophomore. I moved into a new home. I traveled to Miami, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York. I met wonderful people. I connected with those that I had lost contact with.

It’s been a good year.

What am I looking forward to in 2010? Health and prosperity most of all. I would also like to continue to grow my blog and attend a few blogging conferences, something I was unable to do last year. I want to be able to make good decisions, lose a few pounds, and become an overall healthier person.

2010 will be an even better year.

What are your goals for the New Year? What are you looking most forward to? How can we make 2010 be the best it can be?

The year is well into itself, and I still don't have a word for 2019. Each time I think I have one, it doesn't "fit". Perhaps I'm not supposed to have one.Why I Don’t Have a Word for 2019: Yet

I want to walk more and increase my water intake. Not to brag, but I'm pretty darn proud of my child and I give myself an A- on parenting for the year. My son is the light of my life and I enjoy so much the time I have with him.

It was an interesting year for me, like you, lots of big changes and I've learned so much. Most of my goals are personal to me, I need to work on de-cluttering and organizing my home. Mostly though, I want to continue to enjoy the adventure life is and I look forward to what 2010 will bring.

I look forward to sharing your blogging journey!
