Happy New Year!

Wow, 2010 is finally here! 2009 was a long, great year, filled with extreme highs and extreme lows for me personally, but one I will never forget. I ushered in the New Year with a wonderful person and a great night filled with music, dancing, great food, and company.

My mother-in-law agreed to come watch my 5 yr old daughter (my 15 yr old son had plans but because of the bitterly cold weather, decided to stay in) so that I could have an enjoyable evening worry free. My special friend and I found a nice suite at the Hilton and we packed for our one night stay. At the hotel room, we relaxed, and then got ready for our night. We dined in one of St. Louis’s finest steakhouses in West County, and then went to see George Clooney in Up In The Air, which coincidentally, was filmed right here in St. Louis. After that, we went to a ballroom party and ushered in the New Year amongst a thousand plus guests. After drinking and dancing, we stopped off for a late night bite and went back to our suite and retired for the night.

I had a wonderful time, one of my better New Year’s nights! I hope all of you rang in the New Year happily and safely. Here are a few pictures from my night’s tomfoolery! I hope you enjoy!
