Today marks Easter Sunday and is the perfect setting to spend with family and loved ones. Regardless of your religious background or affiliation, Easter Sunday is indeed a hallmark on the calendar and is celebrated all over the globe as an important day in Christianity.
One of my fondest Easter memories was when I was nine years old living in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. My extended family from St. Louis, including my grandmother and Aunt, came to visit us and we had so much fun that year. My father created an Easter egg hunt for me in the yard and I had a blast trying to find all of the eggs. Apparently I didn’t find them all because that summer, I found two horribly rotten eggs hidden deep in the bushes when looking for my ball. They stank to high heaven!
I hope you and your family have a great Easter. My family and I will be spending time with one another and eating a great Easter spread!
What is your fondest memory of Easter?
