The last few days have been hectic to say the least. Still no full-time employment prospects as of yet but I have some projects on the burner to keep me busy. I’m working with a new soon-to-be non-profit called DJ’s 4 Troops as the Communications Manager. Learning the ropes about non-profit orgs is daunting, but I’m up for the challenge!
In addition, I’ve been getting my networking on this week and painting the town red. First there was an event at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis called Spa and the City, inspired by the release of the new Sex and the City 2 movie. You can check my blog for pictures and video from this posh affair.
I also met a lot of my Twitter friends during the Social Media Club of St. Louis debate and discussion at Schlafly Bottleworks. I mingled with some great contacts and befriended a few interesting folk.
I am nowhere near where I want to be professionally, but I appreciate the blessings I’ve been given.
