I haven’t been at my best blogging my usual two to three posts the last few days because of a family situation. You may have seen me tweet about my cousin who gave birth yesterday at 27 weeks to a 1 pound 6 ounce girl named Addisyn Kennedy. My family and I have been rallying around my cousin and her bundle of joy, so a lot of my time has been spent at the hospital.
Addisyn and her mother are doing well. The baby was off of her breathing tube yesterday for long periods of time, which is unheard of at her size. She also has been kicking about and moving around a lot in the NICU. Doctors are optimistic about her progress.
I appreciate all of your prayers, thoughts, and concern. I have passed them all along to my cousin and Baby Addisyn.
