Blogging While Brown Day 1- Invite To The White House


Wow, it’s been a whirlwind! Me and my travel companion, Glamazini, arrived in our wonderful Capitol City on Thursday for the Blogging While Brown conference. As I have blogged many times before, I have been looking so forward to Blogging While Brown and the information sharing and networking which would be taking place.

A wonderful surprise that I learned Thursday evening is that we had been invited to the White House for a top secret meeting that we learned later would be with the Head of African American Media, Corey Ealons, Jessie Lee (a White House media hand) and Melanie Barnes, Director of Domestic Policy. Here are a few pictures from the event:
