A Side Note, Holidays · September 6, 2010

Happy Labor Day

It has been a whirlwind of a weekend, let me tell you. With my birthday on Friday and the endless partying and family gatherings that have commenced over the weekend, a girl like me is TIRED! But I wouldn’t trade this weekend of this life of mine for anything. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in my life. They are truly the most awesome!

Labor Day marks the official last holiday of summer. Now we can look forward to fall which happens to be my favorite season of all. The beautiful colors of the leaves, the mild weather, and the sweaters, boots, and jeans, are what I look forward to most. No need for A/C or heat—fall is a great time the save on the energy bills too.

We also gain an hour during the fall, and what person can’t use an extra hour of sleep?

This fall, I plan on traveling to Chicago, Miami, and the west coast. I also plan on bringing you more fall fashion and beauty posts, as well as introducing more fall food posts as well. In addition, I want to get back to my series on diabetes and living a more healthier lifestyle.

Next month also marks the first full year of TheCubicleChick.com—I will be bringing you guys contests galore during this time as I celebrate my one year Blogaversary.

Life is indeed good! Happy Labor Day to you all!
