Around these parts, fall means plenty of projects to keep the family busy. There’s clipping recipes to try, decorating the home with Autumn scapes, and prepping our closet for the cooler weather. We also love to create DIY’s and crafts that we use for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I think out of all the activities we do as a family, this one is the project we enjoy the most.
Most of these items require the use of paper. Printing out cards, gift tags, and other handy goodies requires a sturdy paper that prints well and makes a good impression. As a Boise Paper partner for over two years, there is only one paper that I trust to handle these tasks, and that is Boise POLARIS® Premium Multipurpose paper.
Believe me when I say that the type of paper we use for these projects is important. Flimsy paper that allows the colors to bleed through or smudge doesn’t make a good impression. One of the things that we love about Boise POLARIS® Premium Multipurpose paper is that it has a brilliant finish that makes the colors pop, and it holds a 99.99% Jam-Free Performance Guarantee.

The cards my daughter and I create are fun gifts that we like to give to friends and family, so the paper that we use has to be the best.
Here are some tips for creating Fall Projects with Boise Paper:
Do it online
While we enjoy making homemade cards and other printables, we get some help. Both Picmonkey and Canva have ready-made templates for most holidays and occasions that you can use. You can even use these templates and remix them to personalize them to your needs.
Add some flair
We like to make our staple to these cute DIY’s by using things like stickers, scalloped scissors, and ribbon. These adornments create a special touch to the printed projects and makes them memorable.
Take it back to basics
Make your card activity fun for the family while giving you some quality time together. Put down the phone and game controllers and tablets and opt for some togetherness that is tech free and family friendly.
One family member can make the cards while another one addresses them and another one adds stamps and other adornments on the envelope. This can create a memorable keepsake for the recipient, and a way for you all to spend time together doing something new.
Whatever calls for paper during your holiday season, make sure to rely on Boise POLARIS® Premium Multipurpose paper. You can use it in your printer, copier, fax, and more. It works for contracts, homework assignments and other printable projects for the household.

These are too cute! I love them all. I will have to check Boise out. I think I’ve seen this paper in Office Depot.

Several times when our son has noticed me on Canva or PicMonkey he’s been interested in the design capabilities.
This reminds me to let him play around with those applications more often and see what he’s inspired to create for the holidays.
