Nominate The Cubicle Chick for Best Lifestyle Blog: 2011 Black Weblog Awards

Ah, the time has come yet again this year for nominations for the 2011 Black Weblog Awards. These awards spotlight the best and brightest in terms of blogs of color. Last year, I was nominated for Best New Blog and Best Personal Blog, but I didn’t win in any of those categories. This year, they have added a Lifestyle Blog to the list of categories which I feel fits my blog much more than Best Personal Blog.

So here is my appeal:

I would love for you to take a minute or two and nominate me for Best Lifestyle Blog for the 2011 Black Weblog Awards.

There are many lifestyle blogs out there from people of color, but I feel that The Cubicle Chick has made major strides this year as it relates to bring my readers valuable and entertaining content.

Voting for me will just take a moment of your time and I would truly appreciate it.

This year, the 2011 Black Weblog Awards will be held for the first time in a ceremony during the Blogging While Brown Conference in Los Angeles in July. Since I am already attending conference, it would be awesome to be a participant in the awards.

Now I leave my fate up to you. Please vote for The Cubicle Chick for the Best Lifestyle Blog in the 2011 Black Weblog Awards!

Click the link below to VOTE NOW. Nominations end May 7, 2011.

Hey Danyelle! That was fun, nominating you. I’m planning a similar blog post this weekend, but for the fashion blog categories.

And we have Book #2! My new novel, 'A Wedding On C And we have Book #2! My new novel, 'A Wedding On Clermont Lane', is now available! It's the sequel to my first novel 'Christmas On Clermont Lane', and if you loved the first one, just wait until you read the sequel.

That makes it two novels in five months, and I must say that while I missed my original deadline in February, I am so excited to have this one finished. The support you all showed me during the first release made me warm and fuzzy and so many of you reached out and asked when the next one would be. Well, here you go!

You can purchase 'A Wedding On Clermont Lane' on Amazon Prime, available in paperback for $10.99 and $7.99 for the eBook/Kindle edition. If you'd like a signed copy, a limited amount of copies are available. Hit the link in my bio.

I cannot wait for you to read this one and let me know your thoughts. Jasmine and The Robinson Family are back---and this time, it's for keeps!
