Last August, I attended the first ever Niche Mommy Conference which took place in New Orleans. As I shared on my website, it was an amazing conference experience and I was honored to be a part of the inaugural event. This year, Niche Mommy has expanded to cover all parental realms with Niche Parent ’13, and it will be held in September at Fort Lauderdale Beach, September 5th through 7th. I will be in the house attending for my second year, and I will also be speaking during a presentation titled, SHINE: Yes Your Words Can Create Change. As a blogger, we may have our forums online, but it is most important that we make sure we communicate and network offline as well to build our presence and friendships.
