It’s Never Too Late for Graduation with Western Governors University #WGUGrad

1024px-Western_Governors_University_logo(vector).svgLet’s start off by getting personal for a moment. I was a late bloomer in regards to my professional life. I gave birth to my son when I was eighteen years old, so I didn’t get to have the “traditional” college experience. In order to keep the bills paid and lights on as a single mother, I had to work full-time, so I didn’t have much time for much else.

After working as a secretary and administrative assistant for years and making a little over minimum wage, I knew I had to go to college. I started on the road towards my degree while my son was in elementary school—doing so was one of the best things I could’ve done for the both of us. With my degree, I was able to get better paying jobs, which positively affected us tremendously.

We all have our own stories. Whether you are a single mom like I was, left college without finishing, or perhaps decided to change careers, you are still in the game. There is no such thing as it is too late for graduation, as millions of people over the usual “college age” are enrolling in school to increase their education and obtain a degree.

No matter your age, background, sex, etc., a college degree is possible. Western Governors University helps you achieve your goals of a college education by offering programs that fit every lifestyle. WGU is a non-profit, accredited online university with the goal of addressing the obstacles facing those who are looking to advance or enter a new phase of their career. You have the option to now obtain your degree and embark on a new chapter of your life.

Western Governors University shows you that no matter who you are, graduation is within reach. Graduation sums up perfectly how people regardless of their age or background can achieve their dreams.

Yes, you can finish strong.
