2017 Sales Tax Holiday Dates by State for Back to School

Find out the 2017 Sales Tax Holiday Dates for your states and what is covered.

Welp! It’s about that time of the year again. While it may seem that the kids just got out of school, it is time to start preparing for them to go back. Shopping for back to school can be costly, especially if you have more than one kid. It helps to be able to save a little bit by knowing the 2017 Sales Tax Holiday dates so you can get what’s needed without breaking the bank.

Sales Tax Free holidays occur in many states, often around Back to School time to help parents with the cost of BTS shopping. Oftentimes it takes place over the weekend or two to three day time span. You can purchase items like clothing, school supplies, and some tech items like computers and laptops without paying sales tax. This can really help when purchasing big ticket items or buying for more than one child.
