Five Quick Products Bloggers Can Sell for Black Friday and Shop Small

Five Quick Products Bloggers Can Sell for Black Friday and Shop Small

I’ve been a professional blogger (meaning I make a living and take care of my family with the money I make from my blog) for about seven years now. There’s been plenty ups and downs, but I have been able to sustain myself and my lifestyle by creating products and services. This helps build continuous income streams and passive income.

Selling my own branded products is something that all bloggers should be doing. If not, today is the day to start. With a huge shopping season ahead, consumers are ready to spend their hard earned cash on gifts for others and perhaps for themselves. Why not position yourself to make some money offering things that people want and need?

The following is five quick products that bloggers can sell for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Let’s go….

eBooks

Did you know that you can create and eBook with content that you’ve already written? If you blog on a particular topic or niche, you can bundle that content and create an eBook. For instance, on my blog, I have a lot of content that I’ve written about Work Life Management. I can take the content (and I have) and make an eBook with it that people can download.

All you will need to do it format it, get a cover designed (or make one of Canva), and then upload it for sale on your site.

If you use WordPress, there’s a plug-in called Beacon that does it all for you.

Production time: 5-7 days

Online courses

Platforms like Teachable make it easy for us bloggers to make online courses to sell to the masses. Utilize your expertise and talent in a specific area, and create a class that your readers, followers, and others you you market to on social media or Google search.

Are you a blogger that’s an expert on saving money and getting the best deals? Leverage that data and make an on-demand course that people will buy.

Take a day to write out a course outline and storyboard for videos. Then make your curriculum and record your videos. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, and you can have everything done in several days if you pound it out.

Production time: 5-10 days

Merch

If you’ve been blogging for awhile, you’ve probably come up with a few catch phrases or sayings that you’ve used in your posts and on social. They may have even caught on with your readers and followers, so why not offer some merchandise to help continue to spread the love?

Coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc. are awesome branded items that you can sell on your blog and/or website. You can use Zazzle or Cafe Press to help design your merchandise and launch your store.

Production time- 3-5 days

If you are a blogger and don't have anything to sell for Black Friday, what are you waiting for? Here's five quick products that you can create ASAP.

Workbooks

Workbooks are my jam and I’ve sold my share of them over the years right here on my site. They are pretty easy to make and my readers and followers can’t get enough. Since they are interactive and require them to do the work, it it a useful tool for pretty much any niche. With tools like Canva, you can make a workbook in a few hours and at little to no cost.

Production time 1-2 days

Guides and printables

Quick guides and printables are also something that consumers will purchase via your blog. Are you a travel blogger? Write a quick guide to New York City or London.

Do you blog about organization? You can create printables that help people get organized for the holidays, then bundle them up in a group of printables for $6.99.

You can pretty much put a price tag on your expertise and market and sell it to consumers. Black Friday is a perfect opportunity to create products and services that can help create additional income streams for you and your blog.

There are plenty more things that you can sell on your blog for Black Friday, but I am giving you the options that are quick and low cost to produce and sell.

So—what will you be selling for Black Friday?
