April Theme: Being Intentional + Desktop Freebie

Hi there!

I’ve been a little quiet on the set as of late, so I thought what better way to get back into the swing of things by starting out April with an oldie but goodie? Regulars from my beginning blogging days remember that I often set intentions for the month and shared them with my readers. I found that this was not only useful to me, but to others as well, so I thought I would return to doing them monthly right here on my blog.

If you aren’t familiar with the word intentions, let me define it here. Being intentional means doing something on purpose, with purpose. When you are being intentional, you are being deliberate with your thoughts and actions. You are controlling your priorities, your feelings as well as your reactions.

April is all about being intentional and making sure that your priorities help you reach your goals. Let's chat!

When we are intentional, you are leading with your purpose and are clear and upfront about what you want to achieve.

This month, I am going to focus on getting back to being intentional with everything I do. Not just go through the motions with muscle memory and habits, but really digging deep into what I want to do, who I want to do it with, and how what I do can help impact my goals.

Here are some questions we should ask ourselves with April’s theme of intention in mind:

  • How can I use my time more wisely?
  • How much time will I devote to self-reflection?
  • What goals do I want to be intentional with?
  • How will I fit these goals into my day?

I am going to use my novels as an example (a little self-promo doesn’t hurt, right?). In order to write them and get them done, I had to be intentional with my priorities. I had to set boundaries with how I spent my time. I had to be purposeful and rely on myself for making sure that I met my word count goals. I was able to finish both novels because I was intentional. I wanted to write and self-publish a novel and I did just that.

April is all about being intentional and making sure that your priorities help you reach your goals. Let's chat!

While I’ve been intentional about some of my goals, I haven’t been so with others. This month, I am applying intention to everything I do. What I watch, what I read, what I take in on a daily basis. The list goes on and on.

How can leading with intention help you achieve your goals and aspirations?

Let me know in the comments, and let’s help one another get to our next level.

Oh, and I’ve got.a fun and springy April 2022 Wallpaper Freebie Download to help brighten up your workspace and bring some intention into your daily habits. Download it HERE, then save as.
