A Group of Young Vocalists Remake Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song”-2010

Written By: TaniJoy, TheCubicleChick.com Contributor

There was a lot of buzz on Twitter yesterday about a remake of Michael Jackson’s Earth Song. I was a little nervous and skeptical because noone can do a Michael Jackson song like the King of Pop himself. I follow one of the guys who participated in the song/video by the name of Corey Mekell, so I ran to his profile to find the link. I clicked on the link and sat in awe as I watched something beautiful bloom right in front of me. I try not to get overly emotional when it comes to certain things, but I got teary eyed during the video.

In today’s society we hear a lot of negative and disheartening things about today’s youth and young America, so I was very happy to see these young adults pouring their heart and souls out in this lovely song that’s about love, peace, and taking care of our environment. They sung this song with passion and such innoncence that it felt the same as if I was listening to the original song. The video was the idea of a lovely singer by the name of Dani Wright. Please watch the video, enjoy, and let me know your thoughts.
