Three Sisters, One Goal: When A Good Thing Comes Together

There isn’t many bonds stronger than sisterhood. Together, we can do great things. We can share with one another and gain strength from each other’s personalities, we can confide in one another when things get rough, and we can be fabulous in each other’s company knowing our sister has out backs when needed.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of co-hosting a ‘Colorful’ Meetup/Tweetup Blogging While Brown Recap Event with two wonderful women who inspire me— the lovely St. Louis BWB’s @Glamazini and @FeteSociety.

I will be posting more pics and information about this event later, but for now, I want to bask in the afterglow that is my sisterhood with these two ladies. I am so proud of both of you and all that you have accomplished.

Three sisters, one goal. A good thing indeed came together.

Thank you.

The bond of sisterhood continues. Who do you draw strength from?

My Blogging While Brown Sisters---@FeteSociety & @Glamazini. We were shiny amongst our faces because it was 111 feels like temp outside!

we were shiny. But it was a great meetup. I'm looking forward to a future meetup already. Thinking of places that offer 1) free wifi 2) meeting or group space and 3) climate control. Got some places on my list already!

Way to go ladies!!!! Keep it positive. I love seeing positive, progressive sistas & bruthas doin' their thang!!! I've had the pleasure of meeting Danielle at a couple social events. The 1st was more than a year ago…hmmmm…maybe 2 years ago. It was at the opening of the Roberts Bros. Hotel on Lindell. I saw a sista with natural hair and had to approach her to say hello. There aren't too many of us in STL, but the number is growing. I just hope i grows enough to get a good number of good natural hair stylists!!! We've since "friended" each other on FB. I'm going to subscribe to each of your blogs. Are there many other STL bloggers out there?

There are a lot of STL bloggers out there that are writing and social networking. I am holding a Show Me the Blog Social Media and Blogging Conference on Oct. 23rd in Maryland Heights. It's a day long conference for bloggers and social media types that like social networking and Internet tech. I would love for you to attend, and it would be a great place for you to meet other bloggers in the area. The official site for that is: http://www.showmetheblog.com. Early bird registration begins on Aug. 1st and will only cost $40.00 which includes the conference, lunch, and materials.
