January Theme: New Year, Better You

Each month on TheCubicleChick.com. we will focus on a different theme. This month's theme is all about creating a better you in the new year.

Here’s to new beginnings. While I don’t believe in waiting for a new year to start bettering or improving oneself, a lot can be said about walking into a new year, a new season wanting change. The start of a new year can help propel or encourage us to be better and do better. It’s a historic maker surrounded in celebration, looking back, and looking forward with hope.

I will never fault anyone for wanting to be a better person, even if it takes place at the beginning of the year.

This year on The Cubicle Chick, I am introducing a new theme each month, and that theme will be the focus of the content on this site, as well as on my social media and on my podcasts. This will help me be consistent with writing and sharing useful content that is anchored around one subject, and hopefully will allow us to continue a longer conversation.

The theme for January 2020 is: New Year, Better You.

This month, we will focus on:

  • Self-improvement
  • Goal setting
  • Enhancing our relationships
  • Creating good habits with consistency
  • Affirmations
  • Reinvention

These topics will be covered on my blog, my Work It! Podcast, my social media, and on my vlog. Yes, I am relaunching my video series, and I hope to have the first two videos up very soon, so stay tuned.

My latest podcast episode is now live and focuses on how you can break a bad habit long-term.
