Table for One: Breakfast at The Pink Willow Cafe

I chose a random Thursday mid-morning to visit The Pink Willow Cafe in Cottleville. With it's PINK decor and vibe, I was in for a treat!

I’ve been hearing about the Pink Willow Cafe for years, but I never took the time to visit. After being in the Cottleville area of St. Charles, I finally thought I would try my luck. Pink Willow Cafe is renowned for its distinctive pink interior and decor, and is situated among other quaint shops and stores in the area. It’s definitely Instagram-worthy, almost an influencer’s dream.

I chose to visit on a Thursday mid-morning, making my impromptu stop a light one. I wasn’t really hungry, but could also use a bite since I hadn’t had anything.

It’s pink

Of course, Pink Willow Cafe is known for it’s pink-print. Everywhere you look, pink is embellished on pretty much everything, including some of the drinks.

Whimsical touches

From the cloudy sky ceiling to the seasonal decor, which also gave pink, it’s both cozy and charming, offering a light respite from the goings on of the world.

Delightful food

The menu offers breakfast, brunch, and lunch fare, with some of their breakfast items available all day. I noshed on breakfast items and kept it light because I was only four days in from wisdom tooth removal, and I wasn’t able to eat much.

Weekday, please

Pink Willow Cafe is a popular eatery, and weekends are pretty busy and require some wait time. If you are able, try to visit during the weekday (I went on a Thursday and immediately got a table),

Make it a date

I plan on bringing my daughter with me next time when she’s home visiting from college. I think she’d love this place! Plus, while I love my table for one solo dates, the vibes give me a girl’s day out type of feeling.

I highly recommend Pink Willow Cafe. Make sure to visit and try their seasonal drinks and offerings. You won’t be disappointed.
