I’m Going to Atlanta for the Atlanta Blogger’s Mini Retreat

After last night’s Show Me the Blog Spa Soiree at Go! Spa (a blog post will follow soon), I am on my way to be a Georgia Peach for a few days. I have been invited to participate and speak at the Atlanta Blogger’s Mini Retreat this weekend and I am very excited. One of my goals this year was to expand my speaking and appearance opportunities, and this event will most certainly do that. In addition, I am going to be surrounded by bloggers who have been making an impact on the internet and we will be able to exchange ideas and brainstorm about ways to help make each of a success.

I will be speaking on “Branding 101: Staying in your Lane” as well as participating in a Creating Killer Content round-table discussion with other pro-bloggers.

My new friend Lakesha and I will be flying the friendly skies this morning for the weekend event. I haven’t visited Atlanta since 2002, so this is a real treat.

There are still tickets available for the mixer portion of the event, so if you are in Atlanta or the surrounding area, I would love to meet you. Click this link for more information on how you can purchase tickets.

The wonderful and fabulous Andrea Amir put this event together and she is most certainly doing big things these days! As a friend and colleague, I am so proud of her!

You can follow my tweets, Facebook, and blog for updates on the event and my weekend in ATL.

Wheels up!
